Safety Guidelines for Cable Car Ride

Boarding

  • To ensure a smooth boarding process, please queue in an orderly fashion and board the cabin in a swift but careful manner.
  • Get your ticket(s) ready and present it to the station assistant.
  • Please board the cabin Only when instructed.
  • When entering the cabin, please take quick and steady steps, do not dash or rush into the cabin.
  • Be seated as soon as you enter the cabin.
  • Do not try to pry open the automated cabin doors.

Taking Off

  • Please remain seated as the cabin leaves the platform, do not stand.
  • Do not lean against the automated cabin doors.
  • For a secured balance, hold on to the railings.

During the ride

  • Refrain from drinking, eating or smoking.
  • Remain seated throughout the ride, do no stand.
  • Do not exchange seats during the ride.
  • Do not rock the cabin by jumping.
  • Do not attempt to open the windows and doors.
  • Occasionally, there may be a reduction of speed or a temporary halt during the ride. Do not be alarmed. This slow down or halt is to allow the elderly and young children to board the cabins.
  • In the event of emergencies, please remain calm and listen to the intercom for instructions.

Arrival

  • Remain seated as the cabin arrives at the station, do not stand.
  • For a secured balance, hold on to the railings.
  • Do not lean against nor try to pry open the automated cabin doors.
  • Remain calm and allow the automated cabin doors to open fully before alighting.

Alighting

  • Alight in an orderly and calm manner.
  • Be patient and take turns to exit the cabin.
  • Proceed to the exit immediately to prevent overcrowding of the platform.

If you are continuing your ride to the next station, do not alight. Simply present your ticket(s) to the station assistant for verification.
